This is the bit I get to write about myself.
So, who am I? I’ll let you know when I find out.
What I can say is I’m from Ireland, work as a strategist in advertising, and I’m interested in connecting philosophical ideas with world of marketing communications.
I just can’t help it.
Some might say I came into advertising the wrong way round. The long story is I studied philosophy and international political economy, spent years in the not-for-profit sector, moonlighting as a graphic designer all the way through, lived in Africa, had a damascene conversion, and here I am.
‘The Garden of Forking Paths‘ is a short story by Jorge Luis Borges, the world’s first ‘hypertext novel’. I thought of the name while travelling around South America.
