Creative planner type. Full-time graphic designer. Ex-NGO wonk. Curious George. Very proud dad.
I currently work as a graphic designer and have gone back to school to study Advertising & Digital Communication as part of my masterplan to become a super-awesome account planner.
I have a degree in philosophy and politics and masters in development studies and 10 years’ experience in policy, strategy and communications in the not-for-profit and public sectors.
In 2009-2010, I worked in Lesotho, southern Africa, in programming and strategy with the Irish Government overseas aid programme. In 2011, I helped African businesses compete in European markets in Irish initiative, Proudly Made in Africa.
Across my career, I’ve also worked as a graphic designer, bringing clarity and impact to many organisations and businesses in the not-for-profit, arts and private sectors.
